"We are sorry to see you go". If you wish to permanently delete your Beautiport Customer account and data, please review the options below.
In-App Deletion (Instant)
You can delete your account instantly without contacting support.
- Open the Beautiport App.
- Go to Account > Settings > Actions
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice.
Web Request (Manual)
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access it, you may request deletion via email.
Prerequisites for Deletion
To ensure a smooth process, your account must meet the following conditions:
- No Active Bookings: All upcoming appointments must be completed or cancelled.
- No Pending Orders: You cannot have active product orders currently out for delivery.
How to Request Deletion
If you cannot use the in-app button, please send an email to support@beautiport.com with the subject line:
[User Account Deletion Request]
Please send this email from the same email address registered to your Beautiport account so we can verify your identity.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon successful account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Personal Profile: Name, Email, Phone Number, and Saved Addresses.
- Booking History: Your past and upcoming appointment logs.
- Order History: Records of products you have purchased.
- Favorites: Your saved salons and products.
Data Retention (Legal Exclusions)
We may retain anonymized transaction records (e.g., payment amounts and dates) for up to 7 years as required by Sri Lankan tax and financial laws. This data will not be linked to your personal identity.
